The ‘Bros’ (friend LaMont from previous book and friend Chris who’s going to get a story in book 3!) text messages are back (❤️) and being in the horse racing arena was a whole lotta fun!! This book also tackles the struggles Piper had being a Black woman who was raised by an extremely wealthy white family in a small town that lacks diversity.

Piper has always been in love with her best friend Tuck. She’s just not sure how Tuck would feel being with a Black woman. And she’s scared to put herself out there! Tuck has always been in love with his best friend Piper. He’s an absolute planner, so he finally comes up with a plan on how he’s going to get Piper! Thank goodness the author doesn’t make us wait long!

Full of faith, strong characters, and a wonderful romance. I also think a strength in a good author is the secondary characters and these ones are great! You don’t have to read the first book, but if you do, it will help you to know some of the secondary characters.

I definitely recommend this one!
