—Book Tour + Review—
Title: Angels Of The Pacific
Author: Elise Hooper
Publisher: William Morrow
Genre: Historical Fiction
Today is my book tour date for Angels Of The Pacific by Elise Hooper. Thank you to @bibliolifestlye + the publisher (@williammorrowbooks) and author (@elisehooper) or having me on this tour. It was perfect timing for me to snap a picture of the book with some of husband’s Army gear as he is headed out to the field for some training this weekend. He leads the University of Montana ROTC program where they educate and train future officers of the Army!
Angels Of The Pacific was my first book by author Elise Hooper, but it certainly won’t be my last. This was a fast engaging read where I felt like I was right in the Philippines with these characters! (female Army nurses 💪) I always appreciate historical fiction where I learn something new and that was certainly the case with this story. The author gives an added bonus of strong friendships and keeps you on your toes with an underground resistance network!
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ For main characters Tess and Flor facing danger, deprivation, and terror. They work together as unlikely allies to save lives and win their freedom. And just when you think this another predictable WWII HF boy oh boy does the author throw in a twist. I recommend this one.
