Author Charlotte McConaghy is back again with another literary fiction filled with atmospheric, mysterious, and nature/climate themed undertones. Its gripping and thought provoking. It’s been over a week since I finished this one—and I’ve read many other books since then—yet this one is still on my mind. Despite this story being a slow burn, I devoured it quickly in one sitting. And despite the many different personalities and actions & reactions due to the circumstances surrounding this story, I loved each and every one of these characters!
