This is written by the author strictly for her Finlay Donovan fans wanting more of Vero! So, you’ll definitely will have want to have read that series first.
This was a short listen and listening to it at my usual 2.2 speed, I finished it in no time while vacuuming up my house from the mess of putting up a flocked Christmas tree. (IYKYK!) I was entertained, found myself laughing and all in all enjoyed it. However, that is just my opinion of the story side of things. When it comes to the character of Vero, I wished we would’ve gotten a chance to have even more of her backstory. I assume the author is saving that for future Finlay books. I liked learning more about her cousin, ex-boyfriend and their garage. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
